Description:
This training program provides information and background for a person wanting to perform construction activity inspections for stormwater controls in the US. The content includes discussions on fundamentals of erosion and sediment controls, overview of stormwater regulations, fundamental plan writing considerations, identifies tasks of being an inspector, and goes through an extensive list of different BMPs available in the market.
The course offers interviews and in-field discussions with industry professionals on topics such as hydrology, materials management, various BMPs and advanced treatment. There are exercises, additional resources, and knowledge checks throughout the content to help you enhance your skills and build a library of support materials. Resources such as inspection forms, logs and references to permit requirements are available within the course.
This course is not specific to any State permit or federal requirement, but it does offer all the components of what it takes to be a professional stormwater inspector for construction activity anywhere in the US.
