This training is an overview of the programmatic elements of a municipal Public Outreach & Education program. We discuss the fundamental considerations that go into marketing and communication strategies, and delivery methods of educational content.
Obtaining public behavior change is a theme throughout that helps to demonstrate program effectiveness.

EPA Stormwater Smart Outreach Tools
EPA has developed a collection of communication tools you can use to promote the value of sound stormwater management for creating a community where your residents want to live and work. Public works managers can use these as part of their public education and outreach efforts of their stormwater permit programs.
